Consultations

Open Tuition from the side menu bar, then Consultations.

A Consultation is a set of meetings between teachers and parents - the equivalent of a parents' evening for your service. Set the consultation up here, and teachers and parents arrange the individual appointments through the Portal.

Setting one up

A consultation covers a window rather than a single moment, so it is defined with a From Date and a To Date within an Academic Year. Teachers then offer slots inside that window and parents book against them, which avoids everyone having to be in the same hall on the same evening.

What happens next

Once the consultation exists, the rest happens in the Portal:

• Teachers see it under My Consultations and can create their own sessions.
• Bookings appear under Consultation Attendees.
