Pupil Hires Requiring Assignment

Open Business Managment from the side menu bar, then Hires > Pupil Hires Requiring Assignment.

These are hires agreed with a pupil where no particular item has been attached yet. Someone has asked for a cello; nobody has yet said which cello.

Work through this queue by assigning a specific resource to each hire. Once a resource is attached, the hire moves on to Pupil Hires Awaiting Coll/Del, where it waits to be handed over.

Worth watching

Charging runs from the date the agreement starts, not from the date the pupil actually receives the instrument. A hire left sitting in this queue can be billing for something nobody has yet been given.
