Notifications

Open Tools from the side menu bar, then Notifications.

Notifications let you choose which events you want to be told about, so that things needing attention come to you rather than waiting to be noticed.

You pick the types of event that matter - somebody making a payment, somebody accepting an offer, and so on - and you are notified when they happen.

The useful ones are events you would otherwise only find by going and looking. An offer being accepted matters because it is the point at which a place is taken and something follows; a payment arriving matters if you were chasing it. Turning on everything is usually a mistake, because a notification that always fires stops being read.
