Leave Reasons

Open Settings from the side menu bar, then Calendar > Leave Reasons.

When somebody stops - a pupil leaving tuition, a member leaving a group - you record a finish date and a reason why. Leave Reasons is the list those reasons are chosen from.

Defining them as a fixed list rather than free text is what makes the information usable afterwards. "Moved out of area", "Left the school", "Financial", "Lost interest" and "Progressed to another provider" are very different things, and only a consistent list lets you see how many of each you had this year.

It is worth keeping the list deliberately short. A long list encourages inconsistent picking, which defeats the point.
