Resource Locations

Open Settings from the side menu bar, then Resources > Resource Locations.

If you keep instruments and equipment in more than one physical place - a central store plus cupboards at two or three centres, say - Resource Locations lets you record where each item actually lives.

Set up one entry per physical store. When a resource is added, it can then be given a location, so anyone looking at the record can see where to find it rather than having to ask.

This matters most when items move around: an instrument returned from hire goes back somewhere specific, and without a location the only way to find it is to go and look.
