Journal Manager

Open Business Managment from the side menu bar, then System Management > Journal Manager.

The Journal Manager is the record of financial postings the system has made - the underlying entries behind invoices, receipts, credits and adjustments.

Most of the time there is no reason to come here: the finance screens show what you need. It matters when a figure has to be traced. When a balance does not look right, the journal is where you see what was actually posted, when, and against which account - which is usually enough to tell the difference between a mistake and something merely surprising.
