Teacher Pay - Approval

Open Business Managment from the side menu bar, then Teachers > Teacher Pay - Approval.

This is prepared teacher pay waiting to be approved. Nothing here has been paid yet, and nothing here is final - it is the point at which the figures are checked before they go anywhere.

What has been gathered

Pay is built from the teacher's diary. Each diary entry is assumed to have gone ahead as scheduled unless a task result says otherwise, so an entry with no task result counts as work done and therefore work to be paid for. Preparing pay collects up everything unpaid and due, and presents it here as a set.

That assumption is the thing to keep in mind while checking. A lesson that did not happen but was never marked up will arrive in this queue looking exactly like one that did.

Approving

Once the figures are right, approving them moves the pay on to Teacher Pay - Processed. Preparing pay again before approval discards what was prepared and rebuilds it, so corrections made in the diary can simply be picked up on a fresh run.
