My Emergency Contact

My Emergency Contact is the one person your service should ring if something happens to you while you are working. You keep it yourself, which is the only sensible arrangement — nobody else knows when it changes.

Where to find it: Teaching > Teacher Admin > My Emergency Contact

Three fields and Update:

Name	Who to contact
Email	Their email address
Tel No	The number to ring

A green tick confirms the save.

Worth a look once a year

This is the field nobody revisits. A number that was right when you joined is not much use five years later, and it is the one record on the Portal whose being out of date could actually matter. Check it when you sign a new contract.

This is kept separately from your own contact details, which live under My Account — changing your own number does not change this one.
