DBS Manifest
The DBS Manifest lists the teachers who come to your organisation, with their DBS and safeguarding dates. It is the page a safeguarding lead or office manager needs, and it exists so you do not have to ask the service for a list every term.
Where to find it: Organisation Account > DBS Manifest
It appears where your organisation has lessons. Choose the academic year to see the teachers who taught, or are due to teach, in it.
| Column | |
|---|---|
| Name | The teacher |
| DBS Disclosure No | Their disclosure number |
| DBS Issued Date | When it was issued |
| Safeguarding Date | When they last completed safeguarding training |
If nothing comes back, no teachers are recorded against your organisation for that year — which on a year that has not started yet is normal, and on the current year is worth a question.
Check the dates, not just that a row exists
A row here means the service holds a record, not that it is current. The two dates are the point of the page: an issued date several years old, or a safeguarding date that has lapsed, is exactly what an inspection will ask about. Raise it with the service rather than assuming somebody else has.
This page is read-only — the records belong to the service, which holds the originals. If something looks wrong or is missing, the office is the place to go, and quoting the teacher's name and the year makes it quick to sort out.
