Your family's details
Each person in your family has a record with the service, and you keep most of it up to date yourself. It is reached from your family list under My Account.
Opening a family member shows everything held about them — their details, their emergency contacts, and their activities and applications for each academic year — with an edit icon beside each section you can change.
What you can change
| Section | What is in it |
|---|---|
| Basic data | Name, date of birth, gender and the rest of the core record |
| Contact | Their contact details, and who the second contact is |
| Education | Their school. You search for it by name, and some services narrow the list to your town |
| Medical | Medical notes and any special access needs, where your service records them |
Not every section appears for every service: medical notes and special access in particular are switched on per service.
Keep medical and emergency details current, not tidy
These are the fields a teacher reads before a lesson and a service reads in an emergency. A severe allergy, a condition that affects playing, a number that still reaches you during the school day — those are worth a minute each term. Nobody else can put them right for you.
A second contact
You can add a contact for a child, which is the person the service will try if they cannot reach you. Whether an older child can hold their own details rather than a parent depends on an age your service sets.
Their activities
Underneath, for each academic year, you see what that child is doing and what they have applied for, each with its status, venue, type and duration. It is a per-child version of My Activities, which is the easier page when you want the whole family at once.
Where a child has nothing in a year, it says so — on a year that has not started yet, that is what to expect.
