Waiting List
Your organisation's Waiting List is every pupil of yours who is waiting for tuition, or who has been offered a place and not yet answered. It is read-only: offers are made by teachers, and accepted by families.
Where to find it: Organisation Account > Waiting List
It appears only where your organisation has applications.
Three sections
| Section | |
|---|---|
| Waiting List | Waiting for a teacher to take them on |
| Pending Offers | Offered a place, waiting on the family |
| Declined Offers | The family turned it down, or it ran out of time |
Declined does not always mean somebody said no. An offer left unanswered for long enough declines itself, so a pupil here may simply have been missed. That is the useful thing your organisation can do with this page: a nudge to the family about an offer they never opened.
What each row shows
Pupil, School Year, Status, Activity, Subject, Current Level, Course, Type of Lesson, Duration and Teacher.
Expanding a row adds two more things:
- Notes — what was said on the application.
- Debtor info — who would be paying.
Current Level and Duration are the ones to check
These are what the family asked for, and they are where a mismatch shows up before it becomes a problem: a beginner asking for an advanced slot, or a duration your timetable cannot fit. Spotting it here is much easier than unpicking it after an offer has gone out.
What you cannot do here
You cannot offer a place, reject an application or reassign a teacher — those belong to the teacher and the service. What you can do is make applications in the first place, and chase families about offers sitting in Pending.
