Customer Portal

How your activities are presented to people browsing the catalogue on the Portal. All three appear online as filters, so they are what somebody uses to find what they want.

Activity Categories — how tuition is divided up by when it is taught.

Activity Levels — the age-appropriate level of each activity.

Activity Sections — the sections or divisions within your activities. Each can carry a narrative, so a section can introduce itself rather than being just a heading.

They are more than filters

Levels and sections are chosen on auditions, events, exam sessions and groups — and on discount codes.

That last one is the reason to set them up deliberately. Because a discount code can be tied to a level or a section, these lists are not only how a parent finds an activity; they are also how you aim an offer at part of your catalogue. A discount for everything in the beginners' level is expressed by the level rather than by listing the activities.

Keep them few and stable

Anything that works as both a Portal filter and the scope of a discount is worth keeping short and leaving alone. Renaming a section changes what parents see and what an existing discount covers at the same time.
