Tuition
Tuition across the service as a whole, rather than activity by activity.
Tuition List
Everyone being taught, in one list. Filter it by venue, activity, teacher or status to answer questions the per-activity screens cannot — how many pupils a teacher has altogether, or who is still on a waiting list across every school.
Remission/Subsidy Requests
The queue of funding claims made against tuition, waiting for somebody to look at them.
A remission reduces what a payer is charged. Any remission set as available online, with a funding option attached, is offered to applicants while they apply, so a parent who believes they qualify asks for it as part of the application. Where the remission asks for evidence, that is the material you are checking here.
A subsidy works the other way round: the school, rather than the payer, elects to cover part of the cost.
Approving a request applies the discount to the charges. Rejecting asks you for a reason, which is written onto the notes of every application in the rejection, so whoever speaks to the parent next can see what was decided and why.
Rejection works on a whole selection at once, so one reason covers everything selected. Where the reasons differ, reject in separate batches.
Note Of Interest List
People who have registered an interest without applying — somebody who wants lessons when a place comes up, or who asked about an instrument you do not currently teach.
Worth working through before you open a new activity: the demand is already written down.
