Prospectus

A prospectus is what you offer a particular school, organisation or family - the list of activities they can apply for.

Different places get different offers. A school with a brass tradition might be offered brass tuition and the wind band; another might see strings and the orchestra. The prospectus is how that is decided.

Setting one up

Add sets the first business type. Each prospectus holds items, and each item is one thing on offer.

To save, Xperios checks:

  • the prospectus has a name
  • each item's service type is one the prospectus offers
  • each item has either an age range or a school-year range, with the lower figure first
  • each item has a title

More than one language

If you change an item's own wording, it is translated into the other languages you use when you save. The prospectus, its items, the translations and its subjects are all written together.

Removing something

An item is removed by archiving it, so applications already made against it stay intact.

A whole prospectus can be deleted along with its items, unless any of them are in use - in which case archive it instead.
